July 17 is the date of our regularly scheduled membership meeting.  It is also the date of the Rock Island County Board meeting.  The final transfer of the courthouse from the County Board to the Public Building Commission for the purpose of demolition is scheduled to be on the agenda.  RIPS members are encouraged to attend the Rock Island County Board meeting at 5:30 PM.  After the meeting we will convene our membership meeting on the second floor at Blue Cat Brew Pub, 113 18th Street, Rock Island.  If you cannot attend the County Board meeting, join us for the membership anytime after 7PM.
