A History of Parks and Recreation in Relationship to the Economy and Values is the name of the program that will be presented by retired Rock Island Parks and Recreation Director William Nelson.  The program is free and open to the public and should provide timely insights as we Rock Islanders evaluate the uses and funding of our parks and recreation facilities.  The presentation will be held in the Community Room just inside the main entrance of the Rock Island Police Station.  Parking is available in the lot in front of the building and on both sides of 5th Avenue.
